The problem
Skyhigh Security had rebranded. The old website no longer reflected who they were — a serious, enterprise-grade cybersecurity company with a genuinely distinctive approach to cloud security. They needed a new site that matched the ambition of the rebrand, worked reliably, and launched on time.
The challenge with corporate website projects is rarely the design. It's the internal stakeholders, the changing briefs, the legal reviews, and the "one more thing" that lands on a Friday afternoon. Most agencies pad their timelines for exactly this reason.
The approach
We started with a clear brief and a real specification. Not a vague scope of work — an actual document that said what was being built, what wasn't, and what the decision-making process would be when things inevitably changed.
The build used WordPress with custom PHP development, giving the internal team flexibility to manage content without needing a developer for every update. Custom plugins handled the more complex functionality. Every element of the site was built to match Skyhigh's brand guidelines precisely.
The project ran through several changes in brief — new pages added, sections restructured, messaging updated as the rebrand evolved. These were managed through a clear change request process so nothing fell through the cracks and the timeline stayed intact.
The result
Launched on time. On budget.
The Skyhigh CMO commented that "this never happens" — which is simultaneously a compliment and an indictment of the industry standard.
The site performs well under load, ranks for key terms, and has been maintained and iterated on since launch without needing an agency involved for every small change.
"Gaz is a one in a million web developer and colleague. He is incredibly creative and easy to work with, knows the entire stack, and clearly communicates and solves problems at all levels. Our CMO even commented 'this never happens' — we launched on time and on budget, despite a number of changes along the way."
